What to Expect With Your In-ground Fiberglass Pool Installation
Installing a pool is an exciting time. Having a swimming pool transforms your backyard space, often turning it into the main feature of the home. But before your backyard becomes a hub of pool parties and family get-togethers, the process of installation has to begin. Here’s what to expect from beginning to end.
What to Expect When Your Pool is Being Installed
Your in-ground fibreglass swimming pool is manufactured in Kingston, Ontario at our state-of-the-art ISO 9001 accredited manufacturing facilities. That means, provided you care for your pool, your investment will look amazing for years to come.
To help ensure it stays in pristine condition, each homeowner will be provided with a Pool Owner’s Manual. This comprehensive document will instruct you on how to keep your pool healthy. Each in-ground fibreglass pool shell also comes with a manufacturer’s lifetime structural warranty against structural defects, so you can enjoy your pool worry-free.
Your pool will be installed by one of our local builders and who will work with you throughout the entire process. They will help you choose the right pool for your backyard that’s custom-tailored to meet your needs and budget and ensure there are no hidden costs or surprises.
Once your pool is installed, a bit of landscaping and/or deck work may be needed around the area to begin to make the pool area inviting and to provide poolside seating and lounging areas. Our Narellan experts can show you examples of what other families have done with their pools and surroundings before your pool is installed to give you ideas of how to integrate your pool into your backyard.
The Complete Narellan Pools Process
The Narellan installation process happens in just five easy steps:
- Design and Conception
You’ll work closely with a qualified Narellan Pools swimming pool builder to plan, design, and scope out your ideal swimming pool and backyard oasis. In this step, your pool builder will coordinate your swimming pool site plans (including fencing) and maps out other optional requirements (including paving and/or landscaping). The necessary approvals will also be acquired.
- Backyard Excavation
Once all plans have received approval and sign off, a Narellan Pools swimming pool builder will begin to prepare the area for installation. This includes excavating the ground where the swimming pool will be placed.
- Fibreglass Shell Installation
After the proper excavation, pool building can begin. Your swimming pool shell will be delivered to your site and carefully laid in the ground. All the necessary pool plumbing and filtration equipment will be installed and tested to ensure it is in perfect condition and working order.
- Structural Beam Installation
The final step in pool construction is the laying of the structural pool beam on top of the pool edges. This beam locks your swimming pool securely into the ground for the life of your swimming pool.
- Final Handover
With installation complete, your local Narellan Pools builder will conduct a handover to you. It’s time to enjoy your new fibreglass swimming pool!
